Bunbury is only a 2 hour drive from Perth city and has lots to offer for activities to do with the family. If you are looking for a quiet coastal town, Bunbury is not your place to go! It is busy and is set up just like another city. It has everything you need from K-Mart to Macdonalds.
Depending on whether you are stopping for one night or a few there are camping spots for everyone. Bunbury has recently opened up three more overnight pull through bays for a night of free camping. Which is great when you just want to park up for the night and are fully self contained.
We stayed at Belvidere Campsite and for our family of five it cost us $22 per night. This was a beautiful bush camping spot, walking distance from the lake. We were parked on a large site and had access to a fire pit and free firewood (massive plus for us). The ranger comes around at 4ish and collects cash for payment for the night. Kangaroos visit in the afternoon and morning. Highly recommend Belvidere Campsite for your next spot to camp!
Want a little bit of luxury? Here are some beautiful places to stay. Bunbury has some really expensive hotels and there are also some really budget hotels so finding one that you suits you and your travels will be up to you to find. We use booking.com to secure hotel deals and to find all the relevant information we need. The website is really easy to use and book. Here are some for you to check out

If you are wanting something a little more personal and some space alone I would recommend Airbnb. Finding a whole house to rent out for the week with your family can often be cheaper than booking into a resort or a hotel.
