What To Do In Thailand

Thailand is home to some of the world’s most beautiful beaches and (some of the worst), it really is a big difference. From tropical rain forests to bustling busy cities. Thailand is a very popular travel destination from people all over the world. It was high on our list and we have added it to our next South East Asia trip coming up as we would like to back pack across the whole country.

Now that the children are getting older they are able to carry their own back packs and their little legs can take them and us further as a family. There really is so much to explore in Thailand and it varies whether you go North or South or even across to the tropical islands.

Thailand has been given a bad rap over the years with the likes of Bangla Road and the Ko Phangan full moon parties but it is all a myth. Yes there is a lot of partying and this attracts the younger crowd but if you stay away from these places you wouldn’t even know it is happening.

Thailand is very family friendly and we highly recommend it. There really is so many family friendly places to go and visit, with rich cultural experiences to be had. The locals are warming and welcoming and around every corner is something new to explore.

Over the years the countries cleanliness standard has improved a lot. Restaurants are on the high end of being clean. There are also many options to eat, with nearly every town having plenty of restaurants to choose from. From having a fruit smoothie from a food truck on the side of the road for brekky. To then stopping by a local restaurant for some true thai cuisine at night. The choices are endless. Oh and of course you can’t miss those pancake trucks with the chocolate sauce….Yum!!!!
